The Website Quidsin.com is operated solely by Quidsin.com Limited ("Quidsin", 'Qi' "we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's office UK and Data Protection Commissions in Jersey C.I. and Guernsey C.I. Our registration numbers are UK: Z3526194 JSY: 18899 GSY: 012539. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable data protection laws in the UK and Channel Islands).
Our Policy explains what information we collect. It also explains how we use and/or share this information, and how such information is managed and maintained. By using this Website or any other services of Quidsin.com, you signify your acceptance of this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, in whole or part, you should not use this Website or services of Quidsin.com or its associated companies. Please note that this Policy applies with respect to the information collected on the Website and through any other contact we have with you whether that by email, online or by phone.
Our Policy ensures that the information you provide us remains secure and is kept private. Below we provide details of the information you provide to us, and more importantly how it will and will not be used. We'd never collect potentially sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will always be both accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by contacting us. If you find any incorrect personal information we will delete or correct it post haste.
2. Personally Identifiable Information - which we collect
We collect personally identifiable information ("PII") that is volunteered during by you during your site usage, for example registration.
Your IP (Internet Protocol) address (a number which identifies your computer) may be collected when using the Website. Why? Because this can assist us diagnose problems with our server, and to administer the Website. Your IP address may also be used to gather broad demographic data, for example where it's likely you live.
We will ask for your e-mail address during your use of the Website. If you purchase Vouchers you may be requested to provide any or all of the following PII: first and last name, postal address, e-mail address, date of birth, telephone number and details of a payment mechanism, such as credit card details. These details may be supplied to a trusted third party, for example your postal address may be passed to a courier or postal service.
3. Use and Sharing of Personally Identifiable Information ('PII')
All PII is recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable data protection laws in the UK and Channel Islands.
We may use your PII:
1. to provide you with information about Quidsin.com;
2. to provide you with the services on the Website and/or;
3. to facilitate services that are directly related to services on the Website;
4. to facilitate your redemption of vouchers with the suppliers of products and services ('Our Merchants') for which those vouchers can be exchanged
5. to record, evaluate and control Merchant or Quidsin's performance;
6. to market our features/services and those of our Merchants, including personalised marketing for the services on the Website and otherwise based on your demographic
7. to evaluate and control our marketing campaigns; and
8. to enrich the information we have about you to better align our personalised marketing with you and your interests.
We make available PII for these purposes within Quidsin.com, to other Quidsin.com companies within the European Economic Area and to our Merchants. In the case of provision of data to Merchants, PII will be supplied to aid voucher redemption, give general feedback or customer satisfaction survey results. As and when you have given your permission, your email address will also be supplied to Merchants for direct marketing purposes. This option ('Opt') is presented to you at the point of purchase. You can 'Opt' out from receiving any Merchant Direct Marketing without it affecting your purchase, or your statutory rights.
PII may also be passed to subcontractors to help us utilize your data better. For example, we may use third parties help us improve our customer service.
We also always reserve the right to disclose PII in order to:
A: respond to enquiries from governments or enquiries from a legal, local or online regulatory body, or quasi-governmental agents
B: comply with applicable laws or industry standards
C: comply with a valid legal process or procedure; or
D: protect our rights or property, this Website, and/or other users of this Website.
Not withstanding the above, it is our policy not to sell or pass any PII to any other organisations or individuals unless we are required to do so for fraud prevention/detection purposes.
Other than Quidsin.com and its group of companies in the EAA we promise to never sell or rent your PII to anyone else if you haven't already provided your informed consent.
It is worth noting that as part of any PII sharing which we list above in this Section 3, we may have to send your PII internationally for the purposes listed above (including to countries outside the European Economic Area). By submitting PII to us, you acknowledge that provided we have used your data in the ways set out in this Policy, we cannot be held responsible for any use of your data by third parties who receive and process your data.
As we are sure you agree, emails make our life so much easier and we will use email in the majority of our communications to you:
- as part of the standard deal service informing you of a deal
- after registration, to confirm your registration information
- as reminder emails, incase you've forgotten about us or our services
- to send you information that you've requested, for example your Voucher
- as a personalised new update
- as promotional emails;
- as an opportunity to provide feedback
- to offer Quidsin related services to you from Quidsin's Group of Companies, for example Quidsin Finance.
In all of our promotional communications, you will be given the opportunity to 'Opt' out by clicking the unsubscribe button. This will not effect our other communications, for example you will still receive your electronic voucher.
5. Security and retention
We hold data PII until 3 years after it is last accessed or used by us.
Whilst we take every reasonable precaution, data that is transmitted between the Website and the user maybe illegally accessed by third parties. Users acknowledge and accept this risk when communication directly with Quidsin.com or its Group of Companies.
6. Transfer of data
In the event of a sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganisation or liquidation of Quidsin.com then, in our sole discretion, we may transfer, sell or assign information collected on and through this Website (including, without limitation, PII and other information), to one or more relevant third parties.

8. Changes to this Policy
Please note that this Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions for use of this Website Quidsin.com UK's services and forms part of the Agreement between you and us. We may, from time to time, amend this Policy. We may amend it in whole or part, in our sole discretion. Any changes to this Policy will be effective immediately. We will post revised policy on the Website.
In any event of any changes, by continuing to use the Website you will be deemed to have agreed to such changes. If you do not agree, you must terminate your use of the Website and any services offered by Quidsin.com with immediate effect.
Transactions - Quidsin.com Limited is responsible for all transactions processed on Quidsin.com via its third-party payment providers.
Telephone Payments (MOTO) – Quidsin.com Limited is responsible for all payments taken over the phone and processed through Quidsin.com Limited. Customers wishing to make telephone payments may be required to answer security questions prior to the transaction being completed.
