- A 30-minute examination/consultation with a qualified locally registered Optometrist, who will listen to you, check that your eyes are healthy in accordance with General Optical Council/ College of Optometrists guidelines and advise you if a new sight correction is required. Special effort will be made during your consultation to explain things to you fully in a language you can understand and answer any questions you may have.

- Additional charges will apply if you want a copy of your prescription if you need to be referred to your GP, if you need to have a detailed retinal examination through dilated pupils, or if you need to be refitted to a different type of contact lens. If this is required the Optician will discuss it with you first.
