Watch your son's or daughter's confidence grow as they learn to dance at their own pace, discover new skills and meet new friends. Their classes are a great way to keep your child active whilst having fun. Children learn in small friendly classes, gently instilling discipline in routines as they learn how to work in groups for performances and competitions.

Katie Cannon -O'Rafferty is the principal of the Cannon O'Rafferty School Of Irish Dance. She is fully qualified Irish dance teacher registered with An Comhdhail. She began dancing at age 5 and learned that Irish dancing was her passion. She moved to Jersey and established the dance school in 2000, with the aim of teaching children to dance to the best of their ability, and to share her passion for Irish dance.

In June 2014 The COR Ceili Dancing classes for adults began. The dance school takes part in various events throughout the island including wedding, fetes, Eisteddfod and Dance World Cup. 2016 seen COR expansion opening in Brittany France. They also travel to Scotland, England and Ireland to compete in Irish dancing competitions.

Only for ages 4years and older. Not available to existing members.

Mondays: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd

Wednesdays: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

November dates:

7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

January dates:

Mondays: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

Wednesdays: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

Classes are held at St Columbas Church hall, Midvale Road, St Helier, at 3:45pm-4:30pm.
